The Lab Technician will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our students by maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing lab materials, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for hands-on science education. Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers with laboratory experiments, setting up equipment, and conducting maintenance checks on various lab instruments.In this role, you will also be responsible for guiding students through experiments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and providing necessary support to faculty and students in their scientific explorations.   • Associate’s degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, or Laboratory Sciences).
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in an educational environment.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
  • Capable of effectively communicating technical information to students.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to ensure proper functionality of lab equipment.
  • Knowledge of managing chemical inventories and waste disposal practices is a plus.
