- Manage and ensure compliance and consistency of the local QMS with the group standard, ISO 13485 standards, and other applicable requirements.
- Ensure effectiveness, continuous improvement of the QMS and awareness at all levels of the organization.
- Develop, implement and monitor quality policies and procedures
- Organize, monitor, and optimize PDCA Quality Action Plan reviews
- Monitor and communicate assigned key performance indicators and disseminate global objectives and action plans.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on QHSE issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Driving medical device registrations and communications with regulatory authorities
- Listen to the market, identify trends, weaknesses, and problems to be resolved
- Monitor customer feedback and complaints and participate with other departments on the analysis and action plan definition to improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that new product, process and equipment follow proper validation process as per group requirements
- Prepare Product release and secure Market release from regional quality
- Analyze production data to identify improvements and support the implementation of action plans
- Ensure that the production Quality team has all the necessary skills and equipment to achieve the required quality level
- Ensure that applicable testing methods, cosmetic, optical and other quality standards are implemented and respected
- Maintain site metrology up to date
- Manage the quality level of suppliers (internal and external)
- Contribute with the operations team in improving performance, resolving quality issues using QRQC, 8D, etc.
- Sets up and implements policies & procedures in Environment, Health and Safety
- Ensures implementation of Crisis Management Policy and procedures.
- Promote EHS awareness to employees, contractors, subcontractors to ensure compliance with EHS requirements on site
- Monitors and analyzes accident/ incident and collaborate with teams to improve prevention
- Rigorously apply EHS rules and actively participate in the implementation of group requirements.
- Promote and ensure compliance with EssilorLuxottica's core values and EHS culture.
- Experience managing QMS based on ISO standard (either of ISO 13485 /9001 /14000 /45001)
- Good understanding of environmental regulations and occupational health & safety requirements
- Technical knowledge on Statistical Process Control, problem solving tools
- Strong analytical skills; able to analyse data, feedback and make conclusions and/or decisions
- Customer centric mindset with leadership and project management skills
- Good listener with excellent organizational skills and passionate driving results
- Good computer skills and solid knowledge in MS Office and BI apps
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Fluency in French & English essential
- Medical device Optical industry experience is a strong advantage
