- Lead transport modelling centrally to ensure consistency across Qiddiya and inform development controls.
- Lead (at City level) the provision of Transport data to Transport projects to inform system design.
- Lead (at City level) the phasing plan and measurement against capacity of networks to inform when roads and transport systems need to be activated to meet development phasing.
- Lead (at City level) engagement with key stakeholders to ensure integration with regional mobility.
- Lead (at City level) the informing and testing of development controls via Traffic Impact Studies at district, asset or precinct level.
- Lead all internal and external governance (including any authority or government agency) interactions including (but not limited to) those required for approvals, stakeholder interaction etc.
- Lead all activities required to undertake your responsibilities, including (but not limited to) consultant procurement, management and contract management, committee presentations, gateway approvals etc.
- Lead preparations for opening and operational readiness scenarios specific to transport modes.
- Lead the preparation of impact assessments as a result of changes or other factors, including the impacts on cost, time and quality.
- Lead the support of all other job families as necessary.
- Lead the quarterly update of the Qiddiya Strategic Transport Model.
- Lead the maintenance, improvement and evolution of the Qiddiya Strategic Transport Model such that it is fit for the purpose of guiding development activities.
- Lead the preparation of transport policies across Qiddiya, including (but not limited to) the approach to Operational Logistic delivery times, Congestion/Zero Emission Zone Charging, Autonomous vehicles, Artificial Intelligence, Flexible/Remote working, EV Charging, Airspace, Fare Collection, Construction deliveries, Transport maintenance etc.
- Lead the strategy for maximising customer transport experience, and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.
- Lead the strategy for operational logistics and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.
- Lead the strategy for event planning (Minor and Major) and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.
- Lead the strategy for airspace management and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.
- Lead the strategy for future mobility and review of all submissions to ensure these are being maximised.
- Lead the independent technical review of all transport departures or relaxations, to provide clear recommendations to the business for acceptance or otherwise.
- Lead the management of the Mobility City Framework reports, guidelines, codes and standards and plans to ensure consistency of information and betterment as necessary.
- Lead internal processes and policy to ensure consistency of design applications.
- Lead the management of regional mobility authority stakeholder relationships and ensure integration with regional systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Transport Engineering, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in transport strategy, planning, or a related field, particularly in large-scale urban projects.
- Strong understanding of transportation systems, mobility trends, and best practices in transport planning.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and governmental agencies.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with sustainable transport principles and innovations in transportation technology.
- Proficiency in transport planning software and modeling tools.
