Job Category: Brand ManagementJob Description:Objective:This position supports the identification and execution of key growth initiatives for the Group with a focus on International Franchise Development. Assist in sourcing and evaluating 'best-in-class' retail brands from global markets and facilitating their successful transition into the Middle East. Key segments include Fashion & Accessories, Furniture & Interiors, Food & Beverage, Sports (Mono & Multi-brand), and Health & Beauty.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the identification and assessment of international brands suitable for introduction and expansion within the GCC across segments such as Fashion, F&B, Beauty, Sports, and Home.
  • Support in developing brand acquisition proposals, business plans, and market entry strategies aligned with group objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, potential partners, and white-space opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, marketing, and retail operations to support due diligence and brand onboarding activities.
  • Participate in contract preparation, review, and negotiation processes under the guidance of senior management.
  • Assist in developing presentation materials and reports for brand meetings and strategic discussions.
  • Maintain an active database of potential brand partners and track communications, leads, and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to industry research and attend trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences as needed to support brand scouting and relationship building.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of newly acquired brands during initial launch phases and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure alignment with Apparel Group's brand standards and strategic direction during all stages of brand onboarding and development.
Desired Experience:
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, retail operations, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven ability to support cross-functional collaboration and coordination across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated experience in enhancing partner engagement and supporting brand acquisition processes.
  • Strong track record in identifying, negotiating, and closing high-impact brand partnerships and exceeding business KPIs for target stores.
