REDA is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Civil) to lead a high-profile mega project at SABIC. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in SABIC plants, ensuring successful project execution from planning to completion.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage civil engineering activities for the SABIC MEGA PROJECT, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and timeline requirements.Oversee design, construction, and inspection of civil works, including foundations, structural steel, concrete works, and underground utilities.Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and SABIC stakeholders to ensure project specifications and standards are met.Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents for accuracy and feasibility.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.Ensure adherence to SABIC’s engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation efficiently.Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits to maintain high standards.Provide technical guidance to the project team and resolve civil engineering challenges.Prepare and submit progress reports, documentation, and as-built drawings.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).Minimum 10 years of experience in civil projects within SABIC plants (mandatory).Strong knowledge of SABIC standards, construction methodologies, and best practices.Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, etc.).Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Why Join REDA?
