- Manage day-to-day accounting operations at the designated site, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to track site performance and financial health.
- Coordinate with the corporate accounting team to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data and reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for the site, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory records with physical counts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare and file local tax returns and regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with operations and administrative teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience: 3+ years in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent English writing and speaking skills is a must.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost accounting principles is desirable.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites or corporate offices, as needed.
