- Develop procurement plans and strategies tailored to each project's needs.
- Execute procurement activities according to established timelines and budgets.
- Material Evaluation and Selection:
- Evaluate technical specifications and quality standards of civil materials and equipment.
- Conduct comparative analysis of products to determine the most suitable options.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and project specifications.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Prepare and review procurement contracts and agreements.
- Monitor contract performance and address any deviations or issues promptly.
- Inventory Management and Control:
- Monitor inventory levels of civil materials and equipment to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient storage and distribution of materials.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier performance metrics.
