SWATX is looking for a highly skilled Senior Applications Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic quality assurance team. In this senior role, you will take the lead in developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies for our software applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand application specifications and contribute to the design of test plans that effectively cover functionality, performance, and user experience.Your expertise will be critical in identifying areas for improvement in both testing processes and application functionality, automating test cases, and mentoring junior QA team members to foster their professional growth.   • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior position.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, including experience with automated testing tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead testing efforts and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of quality assurance principles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate testing outcomes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Certifications: Relevant quality assurance certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level) are highly desirable.
