
Country Sales Manager

- Inspire and guide the Sales team to achieve and exceed company sales objectives.
- Encourage team members to build and maintain strong relationships with key users and contractors.
- Supervise Sales Engineers in their follow-up with contractors on all allocated quotations to ensure timely responses and successful deals.
- Collaborate with the Proposals Department to ensure that all quotations are submitted on time in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate sales visits to customers and end-users, ensuring their requirements are met to their satisfaction.
- Regularly review sales performance with the Area Sales Manager, identifying and addressing any variances with actionable plans.
- Oversee the preparation of weekly sales visit reports to assess progress and discuss future strategies with the team.
- Ensure CRM data is updated and reviewed regularly for accurate tracking and reporting.
- Ensure all customers receive professional service and are fully satisfied with the sales process.
- Address customer inquiries promptly, ensuring their concerns are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise and support the Sales Engineers in following up on quoted jobs, providing feedback and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the Sales team to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills and capabilities.
- Promote teamwork and a supportive work environment to achieve collective success.
- Ensure all team members are aware of and comply with the company’s HSE policies and procedures.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing adherence to HSE standards.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including the Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineers, Proposals Department, and other relevant departments.
- Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and suppliers, to strengthen the company’s market presence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent (preferred).
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in sales management, preferably in industrial, petrochemical, or oil and gas sectors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken) – Arabic fluency is a must.
