The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience with a focus on developing, implementing, and optimizing security processes and procedures. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain effective cybersecurity processes that align with industry standards and best practices.Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity processes and procedures to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
- Develop and document security policies, standards, and guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored security solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Design and implement security controls and measures to protect critical assets and information systems from cyber threats.
- Provide expertise and guidance on security process improvement initiatives, driving continuous enhancements to the organization's security framework.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for integrating new tools and techniques into existing processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity processes, providing training and support to internal teams as needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and remediation of security incidents.
- At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on process design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including network security, encryption, access control, and incident response.
- Experience designing and implementing security processes and procedures in complex IT environments.
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
