
Assistant Accounting Manager - Four Seasons Resort at The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia

- Support the Director of Finance in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and income audit.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management reports, providing insightful variance analysis and recommendations.
- Ensure all financial transactions are documented, recorded, and reported in accordance with Four Seasons policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Supervise, train, and mentor accounting team members, fostering an environment of learning, integrity, and collaboration.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to support audit processes and implement recommended improvements.
- Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and credit management in coordination with the Director of Finance.
- Contribute to the optimization of financial processes through technology and innovative best practices.
- Assist other departments with financial queries, cost control, and inventory management.
- Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and ethical standards in all financial dealings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Arabic Speaker, Local preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, hospitality financial operations, and relevant software (e.g., Oracle, Sun, Opera PMS).
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication in English (verbal and written); proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality.
