Job description:
- Prescription Preparation: The Pharmacy Technician prepares medications and fills prescriptions precisely according to the pharmacist's instructions.
- Preparing medications: Measures and prepares medications required for patients according to specified doses and medical instructions.
- Distributing medications: He provides medications to patients, explains to them how to use and prescribed doses, and makes sure they understand the instructions.
- Inventory management: Manages inventory in the pharmacy, by tracking medical supplies and medications and preparing new orders when needed.
- Customer Guidance: Provides advice and guidance to customers about medications available without a prescription and how to use them.
- Handling documents: Documents and records the necessary information in pharmaceutical records, such as prescription information, dispensing history, and doses used.
- Compliance with Policies and Procedures: Adheres to pharmaceutical policies and procedures and applicable legal and regulatory standards.
- Providing Counseling: The Pharmacy Technician may provide initial counseling to patients about general health care and available medications.
- Maintaining hygiene and safety: Adheres to hygiene and safety standards in the pharmaceutical laboratory and follows infection prevention procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma in the same field
- Valid membership in the Commission for Health Specialties
- English-good
