2. Role Summary:The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire supply chain cycle—from receiving goods to final delivery—while optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day transportation, delivery, and distribution operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and clients to ensure seamless logistics flows.
  • Continuously improve supply chain efficiency and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Develop and enforce operational and logistics policies and procedures.
  • Oversee delivery schedules, storage, and inventory control.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, order accuracy, and shipping costs.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics, transport, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting challenges and proposing solutions.
3. QualificationsEducation:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as:
  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
  • CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution) are a plus.
Experience:
  • Practical experience managing logistics operations within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.
  • Strong background in inventory and warehouse systems.
  • Preference for candidates who worked in delivery, fulfillment, or e-commerce environments.
Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking for cost tracking and operational decision-making.
  • Leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional field teams.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, ERP, or WMS tools.
  • Effective communication skills with internal departments and external stakeholders.
