Your primary responsibilities will include administering first aid, managing minor illnesses and injuries, and ensuring the overall health and well-being of everyone on the premises.Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Care: Provide first aid and basic medical treatment to guests and staff members for minor injuries and illnesses.
- Emergency Response: Administer emergency treatment for injuries or illnesses and arrange for further medical care if necessary.
- Health Assessments: Conduct health assessments and record patient symptoms, medical information, and changes in condition.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications or start intravenous fluids as needed, and document times and amounts.
- Health Education: Educate guests and staff on wellness practices, hygiene, and preventive measures.
- Referrals: Make referrals to hospitals or medical clinics for severe injuries or illnesses beyond the scope of practice.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, treatments, and medical interventions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hotel management and other departments to address health-related concerns and promote a safe environment.QualificationsQualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience: Previous experience as a nurse, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
- Certifications: First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and administering treatments.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to interact with diverse guests and staff.Additional InformationPreferred Skills:
- Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages to communicate effectively with international guests.
