This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.Associate director project controls leads the implementation and delivery of a comprehensive range of PMO and project controls services to support commissions and provide line management leadership and guidance for others disciplines within the PMO and planning Centre of Excellence and the wider business (e.g. other Hubs, international business and other Centres of Excellence) as required.You’ll be responsible for:
  • Accountable for PMO and project controls performance across assigned projects or programs.
  • Designs and implements effective PMO and project controls frameworks and strategies.
  • Leads coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams on all PMO matters.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in PMO and project controls.
  • Oversees cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting processes to meet project objectives.
  • Leads governance, performance reviews, and structured reporting cycles.
  • Manages baseline development and delivery performance, including quantitative risk analysis.
  • Ensures compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and legal regulations.
  • Provides leadership, mentorship, and line management to junior PMO staff.
  • Supports recruitment, fosters innovation, and contributes to carbon reduction goals.
You’ll need to have:
  • Middle East experience.
  • Full life cycle, major project experience.
  • Chartered (or equivalent) membership of relevant professional institution(s) management.
  • Knowledge transfer & training experience.
