Job DescriptionEnvironmental Manager (Marine Construction Focus)Position Overview: Expertise in marine environmental legislation in Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks enforced by the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC), the National Center for Wildlife (NCW), and other relevant authorities. Aware about international standards IFC ,World Bank etc. Skilled in applying national standards for marine biodiversity protection, pollution control, and sustainable coastal resource management.Locution : Northwest region- remote area (Neom-Red Sea).Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enforce Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) tailored to marine construction projects (e.g., coastal, offshore, or dredging works).
  • Ensure compliance with marine-specific regulations (e.g., IMO, MARPOL, local marine conservation laws).
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for marine activities, focusing on biodiversity, water quality, and sediment management.
  • Lead ISO 14001:2015 audits and maintain certification for project and organizational EMS.
  • Train staff on marine environmental protocols and spill response procedures.
  • Investigate and report incidents (e.g., coral damage, chemical leaks) with corrective actions.
