- Providing strategic planning (urban/town/regional) advice across multiple districts
- Coordinate with project leads and teams to support design evolution and project development
- Researching and designing planning policies to guide development
- Contribute to continual oversight of City Framework Plan deviations and annual reporting alongside the internal team and utilizing consultancy expertise
- Review District to Plot level control documents to ensure they’re purposeful for Asset Teams
- Evaluate proposals from Asset Teams that would result in changes to District Masterplans
- Maintain relationships with all stakeholders involved in the planning process
- Monitor the progress of approval processes and resolve delays or issues
- Maintain accurate records of submissions and correspondence
- Stay informed about changes in land use regulations, policies and strategies at a regional, national, state and Qiddiya City level
- Advocate for planning team by presenting data and justifications to all internal stakeholders, boards and Snr Management as required
- Support with all other planning department tasks as assigned by the Director and other department members
- Mentor and support development of the planning team, promoting best practices in town planning
- Acting up when required to support the Director of Planning
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Urban/Spatial/Regional and Town Planning - mandatory. (Master's degree preferred)
- 10-15 years of experience in urban, spatial, regional, town or land use planning, preferably within large-scale development or construction projects (public AND private sector experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex project data and make informed recommendations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaborative work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing project conditions in a fast-paced environment.
