This role focuses on developing strong customer engagement, supporting senior sales managers, ensuring timely follow-up on inquiries, and maintaining high-quality sales administration.
The position is designed to support Saudization efforts by developing local Saudi talent into future field sales professionals.Main Responsibilities & ActivitiesSales Support
- Conduct initial customer outreach, qualify leads, and maintain regular contact with assigned accounts.
- Prepare and send standard quotations under supervision.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries, outstanding quotations, and customer requests.
- Update CRM (Salesforce/SAP) with opportunities, activities, and customer interactions.
- Support senior reps with meeting preparation, data gathering, and quote compilation.
- Act as a first point of contact for basic customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and documentation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding promptly and escalating issues when needed.
- Assist customers with product datasheets, technical literature, compliance documents, and certificates.
- Assist in price list updates and contract documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure CRM hygiene.
- Support tender submissions by preparing basic templates or collecting required information.
- Coordinate internally with supply chain, customer service and logistics regarding delivery timelines.
- Gather customer feedback and update the sales team on market trends or competitor activities.
- Support research for potential new customers and projects in the region.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Senior Sales Representatives to achieve sales KPIs.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Technical Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business support (preferred).
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems (SAP/Salesforce) is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Customer-focused attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and commercial practices.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Organizational and time management skills.
