The ACIO possesses the expertise to provide technological vision to support scientific teaching, administration and research, and outreach activities.Position SummaryThe Senior Oracle Techno Functional is primarily responsible for configuration, design, maintenance, monitoring, support and documentation of all aspects of application systems. Actively works with other departments on the application systems implementation and to identify business process improvements through the application and the technologies, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity. Ability to work in a team and supervise subordinates. The individual will also assist with other IT projects.Duties and Responsibilities· Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle E-Business suite as Oracle Techno functional consultant· Should have hand on experience in Functional covering Oracle isupplier, Sourcing, SCM, Oracle Projects, HRMS, Inventory, Purchasing and Pay roll modules.· Hands on experience in writing Oracle Fast Formula and modification of predefined Payroll formulas· Expertise with JDeveloper, Eclipse, Workflow Builder, Toad/SQL Developer, XML Gateway Mapping, Report Builder.· Perform Oracle Apps System Administration, Custom solution deployment, Basic Apps DBA activities &Security management.· Proven track record in analytical thinking and problem solving.· The ability to plan and organize numerous tasks in parallel and deliver within agreed time scales.· Excellent communication skills be able to manage multiple priorities· High level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices.· Support project team in developing reports, tables, fields, data interfaces and application extensions.· Perform all functional acceptance tests and provide upgrades as per requirement and perform troubleshoot to all processes.· Worked on Oracle Project life cycle, Developed, enhance and modified the various Module extensions and various interface like Banner.· Converted User Requirements into formal Functional specifications and Interfacing with client Application. Developed mapping documents for the columns of source application and oracle applications, developed stored procedures, functions and packages in augmenting the business using PL/SQL.Qualifications & Experience (Required)
A bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the position or equivalent.
At least 8 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Previous experience with developing/supporting/implementing application systems in the Educational industry is required.
Related IT certifications added advantage like Oracle, Java, etc.
