The Saudi Irrigation Organization (SIO) in cooperation with Applus+ is looking to develop and implement a comprehensive inspection program for all assets and facilities in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, primarily in the Al-Ahsa region. The program covers pumping stations, distribution networks, storage systems, monitoring and control systems, corrosion protection systems, and administrative buildings. The Technical Lead will coordinate the technical development of the inspection program, ensuring adherence to international standards and alignment with SIO's objectives.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a preference for experience in the water infrastructure sector.
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering design and project management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of international and local standards, specifications, and best practices pertinent to the design and construction of water infrastructure and irrigation systems.
  • Demonstrated capability to implement and manage quality control and quality assurance programs.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Developcomprehensive Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
  • Supervise Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes.
  • Examine and validate inspection records.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant codes, including but not limited to API and ASME.
  • Facilitate coordination with third-party inspectors.
