We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals for the following disciplines:Job responsibilities of a Commissioning Manager:Pre-Commissioning
  • Review project documentation: Study project plans, specifications, and contracts to understand the scope, timelines, and requirements.
  • Develop commissioning plans: Create detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and checklists to ensure a structured approach.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, sub-contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Commissioning
  • Inspect and test systems: Verify that all security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and physical security systems, are installed correctly and functioning as intended.
  • Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve technical problems or defects that arise during start-up.
  • Conduct system integration tests: Ensure seamless integration of various security systems, including interfaces with other building systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting).
  • Validate system performance: Verify that the commissioned systems meet the project's functional and performance requirements.
Documentation and Handover
  • Maintain commissioning records: Keep accurate and detailed records of commissioning activities, test results, operator training records and issues resolved.
  • Prepare commissioning reports: Compile comprehensive reports summarizing commissioning activities, outcomes, and recommendations.
  • Conduct training and handover: Provide training to end-users, operators, and maintenance personnel on the commissioned systems, and ensure a smooth handover to the client.
Quality Assurance and Safety
  • Ensure compliance with standards: Verify that the commissioned systems comply with HCIS and SABIC standards, regulations, and codes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks: Recognize potential safety risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Maintain a safe working environment: Ensure that all commissioning activities are performed in a safe and responsible manner.
Other Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and cost management: Manage commissioning budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Team leadership: Lead and mentor commissioning teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvements and implement changes to optimize commissioning efficiency and effectiveness.
The Commissioning Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that integrated security systems are properly installed, tested, and functioning as intended, providing a safe and secure environment for users.
