- The role is split in to 2 parts of the business;
- The JTM will be in charge of both parts of the business for 3 categories and his/her primary objective will be to find optimal synergies to drive cost efficiencies and best in class examples for execution by developing a 5p strategy in line with brand & company vision
- Update brand's Picture of Success with clear 5P robust strategy
- Localized trade sell toolkit with retailer mindset for initiatives & base + define 5P strategy
- Monitor & track already launched innovations
- Be familiar with brand financials for key markets
- Support BM team in S&OP from a trade perspective
- A&CP Budget Owner for F20 for BTL Elements for categories across markets
- Understand monthly IMS and work on plans with Sales teams to drive targets
- Work and monitor perfect store defined principles
- Leverage/identify key account and channel insights in the development of trade strategy and activation plans
- Serve as a support pillar to Senior TM across all trade elements, including S&OP process and overall P&L review and management
- Ensure 100% on-time delivery of all elements under trade responsibility in line with commercial readiness timelines
- Monthly connects with distributors to discuss quarterly plans.
- Ensure monthly order forms are updated in line with Regulatory & BM team updates
- Forecasting of base, promos & initiatives in line with process requirements
- Monitor promo performance and amend forecast in line with strategy & competition
- Ensure all BTL elements are delivered to respective markets as part of yearly plan
- Understanding market / channel landscape for each country along with trade calendars (based on data insights)
- Trade plans - guidance, monitoring plus execution in line with BTL execution strategy
- Play a leading role in the development and execution of POS strategy in conjunction with brand managers and sales teams and develop POS solutions and tools
- Develop and execute promotional activities, including gift with purchase, consumer promotions and in-store theatre liaising closely with the Field Sales Manager
- Manage third party suppliers in line with company objectives and policy
- Inventory management in line with forecasting
- Data analysis will be at the core of the job - ensure all plans are built based on findings to stay competitive in the market
- Send out monthly reports that will include a market share snapshot, competitor activity, onground executions & upcoming plans along with innovations
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Arabic speaking is a plus
- Must be affluent in MS Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or any equivalence
- 3+ years of experience working in Marketing/ Trade Marketing or related experience
- FMCG experience is a plus
- Nielsen knowledge is a plus
