Department Description
Responsible for shaping and executing the hub’s data strategy to support data-driven decision-making and innovation within the hub. This role oversees data analytics, business intelligence, and data governance efforts specific to the hub’s operations, ensuring that actionable insights are generated from complex data sets to enhance performance and service delivery.
Brief Description
- Develops and implements a comprehensive data intelligence strategy aligned with the organization’s objectives.
- Leads the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
- Builds, manages, and mentors a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence specialists.
- Establishes and enforces data governance policies,standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to identify data driven opportunities, requirements, and priorities.
- Drives the use of analytics, machine learning, and AI to uncover actionable insights and enable predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Maintains deep knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data and analytics.
- Promotes a culture of data literacy, facilitating training and knowledge sharing across departments.
- Evaluates and select appropriate analytics platforms,tools, and technologies to support the data intelligence roadmap.
- Measures and report on the impact of data intelligence initiatives, aligning efforts with strategic objectives and delivering measurable value.
- Evaluates training and development requirements for staff within the Department and makes any necessary recommendations for learning interventions.
- Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Detailed Description
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or other related discipline is required.
Job Requirements
Nine (9) years of related experience with Master’s,or ten (11) years with Bachelor’s Degree, including three (4) years in asenior/ supervisory capacity is required.
