Job description
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Recording and filing cash transactions.
- Cash management including payment and receipts processing (ex. petty cash, cheque, online bank transfer & payment).
- Invoice processing and filing.
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Administrative duties as required by the manager
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant administrative or accounting experience.
- Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other productivity tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to accounting and administration.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
