Department: Facility Management / Maintenance
Reports To: Facility Manager / Maintenance SupervisorJob PurposeTo ensure the swimming pool is clean, safe, and well-maintained by performing regular cleaning, monitoring water quality, and operating pool equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and vacuum the swimming pool, including brushing walls, steps, and tiles.Skim and remove debris such as leaves, insects, and dirt from the water.Test and monitor water quality (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) using appropriate testing kits.Add chemicals as required to maintain safe and balanced water conditions.Operate, monitor, and maintain pool filtration, heating, and circulation systems.Inspect and report any damage, leaks, or malfunctioning pool equipment.Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including deck, showers, and surrounding facilities.Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.Keep accurate records of maintenance, cleaning, and chemical treatments.Assist in opening and closing procedures of the pool as required.Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Previous experience as a swimming pool cleaner/operator or similar role.Knowledge of pool maintenance, water chemistry, and cleaning equipment.Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and handle pool equipment.Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.Key CompetenciesReliability and strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and in a team.Strong communication and reporting skills.Proactive in identifying and solving issues.Inbox CV's @ (or) Share references
