- Develop, implement, and manage safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
- Provide safety training and orientation for employees and contractors to ensure understanding of safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and prepare reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management to implement safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and maintain relevant documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest safety legislation and best practices and ensure the organization remains compliant with all safety regulations.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure that all employees are prepared for emergencies.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a construction or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of local safety regulations and standards applicable in Makkah and the broader region.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
