It will set new standards in sustainable development, positioned on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of more than 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitat, and ancient archaeological sites.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an innovative and visionary Cluster Graphic Designer Manager to lead the creative design initiatives for Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the graphic design function across our luxury resort cluster, ensuring cohesive brand excellence, visual consistency, and creative innovation across all properties. You will manage a team of talented designers while collaborating with senior leadership to elevate our brand presence in this premier destination.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative creative environment
  • Establish and maintain visual brand standards and design guidelines across all cluster properties
  • Oversee the creation and execution of design projects including marketing collateral, signage, digital assets, wayfinding, and environmental graphics
  • Develop and implement strategic design solutions that align with luxury hospitality brand positioning and corporate objectives
  • Manage design budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple projects and properties
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and senior management to understand business objectives and translate them into compelling visual communications
  • Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and brand consistency
  • Stay current with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in the hospitality sector
  • Coordinate with external vendors, printers, and production partners to ensure quality deliverables
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to shape the visual identity and creative direction of the cluster
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity
  • Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work, preferably in luxury hospitality or high-end brand environments
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring creative teams
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of brand identity, visual communication, and design principles
  • Experience with budget management and resource planning
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in digital design, print production, and environmental graphics
  • Knowledge of design production processes and printing specifications
  • Preferred: Experience in the luxury hospitality industry or multi-property resort environments
  • Preferred: Familiarity with design management software and project tracking tools
  • Preferred: Experience working in or with Middle Eastern markets
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skill set
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
