Job DescriptionJob Purpose:Responsible for handling all day-to-day treasury operations for the assigned Business Units. and conducting arrangements with financial institutions to ensure adequate liquidity, cash flow availability and managing trade finance instruments., mitigate risks associated to foreign currency and debt financing in a cost-effective manner.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Strategy FormulationFocus on operational excellence by ensuring accurate and timely execution of treasury activities. Identify opportunities for process improvement, enhance efficiency in cash management and reporting, and provide actionable insights to support BU and Group Treasury decision-making.Policies & ProcessesEnsure all treasury activities comply with Group Treasury policies, internal control requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain proper documentation of bank accounts, signatories, and related authorizations.Core Activities
  • Manage all treasury activities with respect to cash management, corporate funding, and implementation of cash management systems to optimize efficiencies as well as ensure optimal cash flow for Rawabi Holding and the concerned Business Units.
  • Make provision for investing excess cash/ idle funds for the accomplishments of liquidity and financing objectives set by the management.
  • Track funds on daily basis to provide daily cash position, ensure implementation of efficient cash management and monitor liquidity through proper management of treasury assets and liabilities.
  • Review and lead the preparation of cash flow projections to facilitate the planning for adequate liquidity to meet major financial requirements of the concerned Business Units.
  • Recommend financing recommendations to the Treasury Manager and Senior Financial Manager to choose the ones that are beneficial to Rawabi Group and Business Unit interests, and negotiate with banks for facilities (Loans, LG’s / LC’s).
  • Manage the liaison with Financial Institutions to conduct market surveys, gain knowledge on new loan offers, monitor money market flows, and define requirements for money market instruments.
  • Manage loans and interest payments by ensuring loan installments are paid on time and tracked accordingly.
  • Manage FX and interest risk rate by identifying any risks associated with portfolio & cash flow from external operations and lead the implementation of different hedging tools like forwards, options, swaps, etc. for controlling risks identified.
  • Provide necessary recommendations to hedge risks pertaining to exposure to foreign exchange rates as well as interest rates to manage overall corporate risks within specified limits.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and assess risk factors with high exposure on the cash position (e.g., interest rate and exchange rate risks) of the financial transactions that can affect Rawabi Holding’s and the concerned Business Units’ operations.
  • Liaise with financial institutions, banks, external financial analysts, auditors, and evaluators to ensure smooth daily banking operations and easy liquidity management of Rawabi Holding and the concerned Business Units.
  • Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
HSE Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure the health, safety and welfare of self and others.
  • Ensure employee health and safety programs and guidelines are developed, regularly maintained, implemented, reviewed and complied with.
  • Identify any health, safety or environmental risks in addition to recommending and implementing solutions to mitigate the same.
Continuous Improvement
  • Recommend continuous improvement of Unit’s operations taking into account best practices, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans in accordance with the country’s rules and regulations.
Reports
  • Submit regular reports on cash flow, bank positions, and trade finance utilization to Group Treasury and Senior Finance Manager
  • Highlight liquidity risks, cash shortages, or deviations from forecasts to Group Treasury and Senior Finance Manager
  • Coordinate with the BU Finance team to align treasury operations with business needs.

Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, or related field.
  • Master's Degree in Finance, or related field, would be an added advantage.
  • CTP, CA, CPA is a preference
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in treasury operations, banking, or corporate finance.
  • Experience in cash management and trade finance.
