Job Description – QC & QA Specialist (Food & Beverage)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QC & QA Specialist to join our Food & Beverage team. The role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards by implementing effective quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) systems across production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control (QC):Inspect and test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing as required.Monitor production lines to verify adherence to critical control points (CCPs).Record, analyze, and report deviations or non-conformance findings.Coordinate with production teams to implement immediate corrective actions.Quality Assurance (QA):Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory and customer audits.Manage and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records for traceability.Investigate customer complaints and oversee corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).Train employees on hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.2–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the F&B industry.Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations.Hands-on experience with laboratory testing methods (microbiological & chemical).Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools.Preferred QualificationsProfessional certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, or Food Safety.Experience handling regulatory audits (local & international).Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
