Alongside SWA Transient Aircraft Services, KBR delivers Engineering Support, NTV Leasing, LAMS, Power Production, BOS-I, and a range of quality-of-life solutions that help sustain base operations.Job SummaryThe Supervisor (Lead) is responsible for the day-to-day execution, coordination, and oversight of Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) operations during assigned shifts at an installation within the Southwest Asia Area of Responsibility (AOR). Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the Supervisor ensures aircraft servicing operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), applicable Technical Orders, airfield safety standards, and U.S. Government/U.S. Air Force directives.This position provides frontline leadership across all flight line operations, including aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn-around, and departure activities, while overseeing assigned personnel supporting TAS operations. The Supervisor is accountable for maintaining operational continuity during shifts, coordinating with Government stakeholders, and ensuring consistent execution of mission-critical services in a high-tempo, austere, 24/7/365 environment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a ZERO Harm workplace by enforcing strict adherence to flight line safety standards, FOD prevention programs, tool control procedures, and proper use of PPE at all times.Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance requirements, document and report hazards, incidents, and discrepancies in accordance with established procedures.Provide direct supervision of TAS personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring safe and efficient execution of aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn-around, and departure operations.Coordinate daily tasking and priorities; assign work, monitor execution, and resolve operational challenges impacting aircraft flow and mission execution.Schedule and manage shift coverage to maintain required 24/7/365 service levels, including support for surge operations and short-notice mission requirements.Inspect and audit in-process and completed work to verify compliance with PWS requirements, Technical Orders, and airfield procedures; initiate corrective actions as required.Oversee execution of aircraft ground handling and servicing operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards and directives.Monitor performance trends, identify operational risks, and escalate issues to the Site Manager while implementing immediate corrective actions when required.Maintain effective coordination with Government stakeholders (COR, Airfield Management, Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), and other mission partners) to support real-time aircraft servicing requirements.Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and records management, including shift logs, aircraft servicing records, and incident reports.Maintain accountability of tools, equipment, and vehicles; ensure proper use, maintenance, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.Support training, qualification, and readiness of personnel; ensure all team members meet required certifications and operational standards.Communicate operational status, issues, and performance updates to the Site Manager and leadership team in a timely manner.Support transition, mobilization, and demobilization activities as required to maintain continuity of operations.Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple competing requirements in a high-tempo environment while maintaining safety, discipline, and mission focus.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager.Basic QualificationsMust be a U.S. citizenAbility to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearanceAbility to maintain operational continuity across rotations and work within Government-led governance rhythmsMinimum 6–8 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft ServicesDemonstrated hands-on experience in flight line operations and aircraft servicingPrior experience in a supervisory or team lead roleStrong knowledge of:Aircraft ground handling and servicing proceduresAirfield safety requirements and flight line operationsApplicable Technical Orders and maintenance practicesPreferred QualificationsPrior experience supporting U.S. Air Force TAS operationsFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent military experienceFamiliarity with FOD programs, tool control, and flight line safety complianceExperience coordinating with MOC, Airfield Management, and aircraft maintenance teams.KBR BenefitsKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
