- Develop, enhance and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs for all Departments & Projects in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure safety & well-being of all personnel involved in our projects as well as safety & security of Equipment / Assets/Process/Environment
- Lead and manage the HSE team to achieve objectives defined in AMS Safety Policy & AMS Safety Manual
- Ensure alignment of HSE goals with Company / project objectives and regulatory requirements
- Proactively participate in implementation of Integrated QMS for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance to HSE procedures while overseeing the successful execution Company / Project objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and environmental risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary. identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency response measures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments for HSE hazards associated with project activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans, including emergency response procedures, hazard communication, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Implement the Safety requirements for company provided accommodation ensuring that regulatory and Aramco requirements are met.
- Audit and inspect company provided accommodation as required
- Conduct training and educational programs on health, safety, and environmental topics for project personnel, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead Safety committee meetings for projects & conduct the Company Safety committee meetings.
- Maintain Register / Log sheet for Near miss / Incident reports.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
- Identify and analyse root causes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure lessons learned are applied to prevent recurrence
- Participate in customer meetings and handle all quality related matters for all Projects.
- In coordination with Operations, Prepare, review submit & implement Project Safety plan and other required HSE documents.
- Provide leadership, guidance and training to HSE personnel
- Monitor performance of HSE personnel.
- Prepare and present HSE reports for senior management.
- Reviews Technical Requisitions/RFQ/POs.
- Prepare / Review/ track health, safety and Environmental deliverable submittals
- Liaises closely with Document Management Group to ensure the progressive assembly of project health, safety and environmental documentation
- Other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
- Bachelor s degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Thorough Knowledge and proficiency of Saudi Aramco EHSE regulations and standards.
- OHSA, NEBOSH and Aramco approved Safety personnel Certifications.
