Facilities Supervisor, Relatability Maintenance Engineering

The Supervisor will develop plans on how to accomplish engineering departmental goals and will be responsible for the leadership/development and coaching of the team through Performance Management.
This role also leads the technical team in providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Amazon Facility.
The role has a direct impact on the site, its productivity and operational success. If equipment is not available or performs badly it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site.Key job responsibilities
· Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.
· Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
· React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue.
· Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
· Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
· Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
· Management of contractorsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS. Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical/Industrial/Electronics/Automation/Control Systems
· Experience of 1 to 2 years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance
· Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
· Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.
· Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
· Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in Auto-CAD drawing
- Experience of sortation machines
- Experience in troubleshooting through PLC
- Understanding of sustainability concepts, such as energy-saving initiatives, waste management, and best facility practices.
- Knowledge of HVAC, fire system, electrical, and mechanical systems is a plus.
