- Research and identify potential textile suppliers internationally.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, product quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand textile requirements and specifications.
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities and stay competitive.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, pricing, and performance metrics.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in textile sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of textiles, including fabric types, properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in planning, development, and logistics is highly desirable, but not a must.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with procurement software (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
