- Develop, maintain, and enhance the Business Continuity Management Program, including policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and potential impact from disruptions.
- Design and implement training programs on business continuity and risk management best practices.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of risk management strategies and business continuity plans.
- Facilitate tabletop exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of BCPs, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared to respond effectively.
- Monitor changes in regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to business continuity and risk management.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding the status of business continuity efforts and emerging risks.
- Support incident response efforts and lead recovery efforts post-disruption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or related roles.
- Professional certifications such as CBCP, CRMP, or similar are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across different departments and influence stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting training and awareness programs.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements relating to business continuity and risk management.
