Department: Facilities Management ConsultancyLocation: Anywhere in KSA JobTitle: Landscaping Consultant Reports to: Project DirectorPosition Overview (Confidential Client – Facilities Management Sector)We are looking for an experienced Landscaping Consultant to support a confidential client on a large-scale facilities management program across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role involves strategic planning and oversight of landscape maintenance operations, including coordination with service providers and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of the Landscaping Annual Maintenance Plan in collaboration with the Facilities Management Service Provider (FMS) and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with industry and OEM standards.
  • Review training programs for landscaping staff and offer recommendations aligned with current best practices.
  • Implement the PMS Procedure, including the tracking of observations and NCRs, to ensure ongoing compliance with SLA commitments and HSE standards.
  • Provide strategic consulting and tailored advice on the management of landscaped and agricultural areas, ensuring client goals and environmental considerations are met.
  • Evaluate the current landscape conditions (plants, turf, trees, irrigation, hardscape) and develop sustainable, cost-effective maintenance strategies.
  • Promote eco-friendly landscaping practices that comply with applicable regulatory standards for environmental and pesticide safety.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, oversee performance, and ensure service delivery aligns with contractual and quality expectations.
  • Deliver training and workshops for FM personnel on landscape practices, pest management, and sustainability. Develop manuals and educational resources.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Stay current on landscaping trends, tools, technologies, and legal requirements. Collaborate with experts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed records related to maintenance schedules, pesticide usage, plant inventory, and contracts. Provide clients with clear reports and actionable insights.
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in horticulture or landscaping, ideally within large-scale or facilities management environments.
Educational & Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, or Agricultural Sciences.
  • ASHS Certification (preferred).
  • Minimum IELTS level 6 or equivalent in English proficiency.
