- Adopting and supporting global transformer strategy and portfolio deployments in the HUB to Customers and Hitachi Energy with focus on
- Contributing to bringing short, medium & long-term results via support to the sales and execution teams in a cradle to grave approach. Includes activity at Customer pre-tender/conceptual stage, Customer, tender strategy development, technical tender clarification, order execution technical support, problem resolution and clarification, FAT support and post-delivery technical issue resolution.
- Establishing and demonstrating industry leading business and technical knowledge leadership by organizing and conducting technical trainings / webinars / presentations via both Hitachi Energy and industry platforms.
- Including and translating the knowledge of previous transformer design experience into Customer relevant knowledge.
- Leading the regional Application Engineering & Business Development activities related to the transformer portfolio by understanding Market
- Trends and secure the anticipated growth and have positive impact on ROMI.
- Fulfilling the Customer facing dimensions, activities shall include organizing and conducting Customer Technical Trainings (CTT’s), attending industry conferences, customer visits, specification influencing recommendations & reviews, tender negotiation clarification, off cycle technical
- and knowledge support to customer contacts.
- Fulfilling the internal Hitachi Energy facing dimensions, activities shall include internal technical training (HIIT’s) and Customer relationship presentations, tender strategy & negotiation recommendations. Engage factory and tender engineering teams to develop and deploy trust, acceptance and team integration, Customer support during FAT, post order problem solving.
- Developing and implementing KPI’s and targets for the Transformer portfolio to provide visibility of activity and outcomes in the dimensions listed above. The metrics for her/his performance review might include the number of CTT’s, HIIT’s, specifications influenced.
- Contributing to and following a structured market plan combining the technical info gathered with customers while deploying a strategic overview mindset.
- Ensuring that all Customer interactions are reported in SFDC and pursue its support by the M&S team of the Hub.
- Ability to develop one’s own technical presentations, additionally use colleagues and BL technical presentations supported by underlying deep understanding of the topics.
- Deep understanding of all transformer portfolio for different segments and applications and will support from a technical knowledge point of view the WCFE Team for the Marketing and Sales activities of the HUB and represent the interests of the GPG/BL in the given Country/Region.
- Providing customer feedback as well as strategic marketing inputs to GPG / GPMM and support the market analysis validation and competitive landscape and heat maps.
- Supporting and engaging closely within Application Engineering teams

- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. A master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical department (R&D, Engineering or Design) and Project Management or Product Marketing,
- Sales and Business development in the assigned sector, associated with transformer businesses.
- Strong technical skills, in addition to the marketing experience, to be able to bridge the gap between
- technical and marketing teams in the company.in industry technical bodies (CIGRE, IEC etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent networking skills matured in a highly international organization, “leading by influence.”
- Change management experience is a strong plus.
- Intercultural sensitivity is required, with excellent communication skills in oral and written, with colleagues from multi-countries for assigned region. A strong grasp of the local language.
- Be willing to travel ~ 50%.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
