- Extract accurate quantities of materials and components for construction projects using and not limited to BIM and AutoCAD software.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs using industry-standard software, ensuring precision and reliability in measurements.
- Develop comprehensive reports and documentation detailing material quantities, cost estimates, and bill of quantities.
- Collaborate with project managers to analyze project requirements, budgets, and timelines, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Implement efficient reporting systems to track project progress, expenditures, and variances against budgeted costs.
- Monitor and analyze cost data throughout the project lifecycle, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, cost forecasts, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in all quantity surveying activities.
- Provide support during procurement processes, including tender evaluation and contract administration.
- Conduct detailed labor cost estimation, considering hourly rates, overtime, and associated benefits.
- Manage the manpower budget, tracking labor costs against the allocated budget.
- Manpower Planning and Forecasting: Collaborate with project teams to forecast and plan manpower requirements throughout project phases.
- Manpower Scheduling and Coordination:
- Work closely with project planners and construction managers to integrate manpower schedules with project timelines.
- Weekly, Monthly and project close out report.
- Understanding construction execution activities is a must.
- Analytical Skills
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret manpower data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across departments for seamless manpower coordination.

- Proficient in managing manpower budgets, with a keen eye for cost control and optimization.
- Project Management Software Proficiency:
- Mastery of project management software and tools for efficient workforce planning and scheduling.
- Change Management Expertise:
- Skill in assessing and managing the impact of changes on manpower requirements, negotiating adjustments as needed.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to address immediate workforce issues and devise long-term solutions.
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in surveying, Building/Construction or Civil.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Middle East, is essential, with a preference for experience within the Construction Industry, preferably with a main contractor.
- Proficiency in English communication (verbal/written) is a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) is a prerequisite.
- Proficiency in BIM is a prerequisite.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a prerequisite.
- Other QS software is preferable.
- Knowledge of planning software, specifically Primavera P6 is preferable.
