- Inspect and verify the quality of procured materials and equipment from vendors and suppliers in accordance with project quality standards and Saudi Aramco requirements.
- Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), Material Test Reports (MTRs), inspection and test plans (ITPs), and other relevant certificates.
- Coordinate and conduct incoming inspections at vendors’ sites, warehouses, and upon delivery to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Liaise closely with Procurement, QA/QC, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues or discrepancies related to procured items.
- Maintain and update procurement quality records, inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and material rejection logs.
- Support vendor qualification and assessment activities focusing on quality assurance.
- Assist in the preparation and review of procurement quality control plans.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials and equipment on-site to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Facilitate pre-shipment inspections, witness factory acceptance tests (FATs), and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies as required.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure traceability and compliance during material receiving and inventory.
- Participate in quality audits, inspections, and supplier performance reviews.
- Promote adherence to company HSE and quality policies throughout procurement and receiving processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years of quality control experience in procurement for EPC/LSTK oil & gas projects.
- Experience working on Saudi Aramco projects and familiarity with their quality requirements and standards.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes related to procurement of mechanical equipment (submersible pumps), piping, electrical, and instrumentation materials.
- Experience with inspection and testing documentation including ITPs, CoCs, MTRs, and NCR handling.
- Knowledge of API, ASTM, IEC, NACE, and other relevant standards is an advantage.
- Good understanding of supplier quality assurance and vendor inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco quality systems and documentation requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in MS Office and quality management software/tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline project environment.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
