Job DescriptionResponsibilities:1. Drive a ‘zero defect’ culture with Quality, sustaining operations compliance to regulatory & non-regulatory requirements.2. Lead and drive continuous improvement activities, proactively building in quality to repair processes and procedures to ensure repair and detection methods are robust.3. Drive and lead problem solving activities deploying corrective and preventative actions to reduce defects and eliminate reoccurring quality defects.4. Daily support to the operations team to ensure compliance repair methods and to Quality Management System procedures.5. Drive resolution of actions relating to non-conformance reports, Stop Works Events and Quality Concerns.6. Lead implementation of BiQ practices7. Lead defect reduction projects and working inclusively with Operations and Engineering to resolve shop floor quality issues promptly.8. Championing quality initiatives and CoPQ reduction projects in the cell. Conducting assigned internal audits to ensure compliance to local procedures9. Support training activities for all employees relating to quality.Required Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (preferably in Engineering – Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical or related technical engineering background); OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial or similar industry.2. 3 years of manufacturing quality experience in a similar industry
