QC Engineer / Low current

Perform detailed inspections of low-current system installations, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), access control, and Public Address (PA) systems.
Conduct functional testing and commissioning of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
Prepare and maintain thorough documentation of test results, inspection reports, and quality control records.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure that installations align with technical requirements and design intent.
Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and monitor resolution to maintain quality standards.
Support audit processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for low-current and ELV systems in construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of standards and best practices relevant to ELV systems (e.g., NFPA, BS EN, and local regulations).
Ability to interpret ELV schematics, layout drawings, and technical specifications.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
Capable of effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including vendors and consultants.
