- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Lead project kick-off meetings and ensure alignment among stakeholders on project objectives and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Foster strong relationships and effective communication channels to address stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, consultants, and support staff.
- Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure accountability to drive project progress and achieve milestones.
- Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts in alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Monitor project expenditures, track costs against budget, and implement cost-saving measures as necessary.
- Develop project schedules, critical path analyses, and milestone timelines to ensure timely project delivery.
- Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and disruptions.
- Establish quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the quality and integrity of project deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and uncertainties that may impact project objectives and outcomes.
- Develop risk management plans and contingency measures to address potential threats and capitalize on opportunities.
- Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and deliverables through effective change control processes.
- Evaluate change requests, assess their impact on project objectives, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in project management roles within the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale hospitality projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software applications.
- Sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be advantageous.
- Experience working in a PMC environment or with hospitality industry clients.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
