- Manage and supervise a team of waitstaff to ensure efficient and high-quality service is provided to guests
- Train and mentor new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for the waitstaff, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for guests
- Greet and seat guests, taking their orders and providing recommendations on menu items
- Ensure all food and beverage orders are accurately entered and delivered to guests in a timely manner
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, working to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen team
- Manage inventory and supplies for the waitstaff, ensuring adequate stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times
- - Assist with special events and private dining reservations as needed.
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter or captain in a high-end restaurant is required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairing and menu recommendations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Good in English is required, Arabic
