Piping Engineer (Offshore Project Management)

• EPC project execution background –Domestic & International + EPC Project & Proposal
• Knowledge of API , IBR and ASME and other applicable international codes and standards.
• Planning of Engineering work schedule, Construction schedule, Commissioning schedule.
• Communication skill, Soft Skill like MS Office, Multidisciplinary coordination.
• Responsible for Engineering / Fabrication Co-ordination with Design Office / Fabrication Yard / Vendors / Client
• Timely delivery of engineering deliverables, Managing Client (e.g. ONGC/EIL/ARAMCO etc.) getting approval on engineering deliverable.
• Approval of Vendor documents, engineering drawing and documents.
• Coordination with engineering consultant, procurement, other disciplines, Yard team.
• Assistance to site construction team, QA&QC during FAT, SAT and site check approval from Client.
• Guide team of Piping engineers for the complete Project/Engineering cycle.
• Coordination with Engineering contractor or LTHE Engineering dept and client for comments resolution and approval of the Drgs/documents.
• Lead team of Piping leads for Project / Proposal
• Responsible for discipline related Prebid Engineering and manage the respective post award detailed engineering, deliverables and battery limit interface management.
• Identify and Piping Engineering Deliverable and review to ensure completeness and compliance to schedule and report progress on Engineering deliverables.
• Participate/Support detailed Engineering and perform checks of Piping engineering drawings and calculations of upstream piping for oil and gas production.
• Preparation of Equipment Layouts, MTO for Piping Bulk and Piping Specialty, Tender for Piping Fabrication and installation, Insulation and allied mechanical works.
• Ensure compatibility of the design with other engineering disciplines and ensure that the piping system design meets the requirements of the client/ operability and regulatory organizations, etc.
• Prepare/coordinate 3D models, detection of clashes, generation of GADs and Isometrics and final MTO, conduction of stress value analysis /and surge analysis.
• Prepare specifications/datasheets for pipes and fittings-valves, bends, tees etc and technical evaluation of the vendors quote for completeness.
• Familiarity with P& I Diagrams for Oil and Gas Projects and usage of Caesar II engineering software and PDS tools - and checks conformance to codes like API , IBR and ASME and other applicable international codes for piping generally used in Oil and Gas projects.
