Mechanical Inspector

- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply, to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and building codes.
- Coordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors.
- Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals, taking necessary actions as required.
- Read and interpret package contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications, including any associated updates.
- Monitor and document contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis.
- Perform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
- Prepare detailed reports on observed activities, including personnel, equipment, location, and methods utilized.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures and site safety measures.
- Conduct site measurements and surveying checks as needed.
- Report on any violations of health and safety regulations in construction works.
- Diploma in Engineering required; related degree in Engineering fields preferred for career progression
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy, focusing on mechanical systems
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical methodologies, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and building codes
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and installation processes
- Experience with various building types, particularly high-rise, mixed-use residential and commercial, retail, and hospitality projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports in English
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures in construction
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
- Willingness to work on-site in various locations throughout Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
