Mechanical Technician

• Report to: Maintenance foreman or person in charge.
• Primary Responsibility: Electrical and preventive maintenance activities for all machines related to paper production.

• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Assist in electrical machine troubleshooting and repairing.
• Communicate with maintenance in charge and machine suppliers/service technicians for machine issues if required.
• Prepare reports, update checklists, and start CMMS or MWR requests.
• Check daily JOB orders and pending mechanical work.
• Attend to production requests related to mechanical activities.
• Monitor production area for possible machine problems or breakdowns.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production and working area.
• Maintain, clean, and arrange equipment/tools and update work at the production area.
