
Safety Officer

- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees to enhance safety awareness and compliance.
- Monitor safety practices and ensure adherence to local regulations and industry standards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on safety policies and procedures.
- Keep records of safety performance metrics and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety programs.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff regarding safety issues and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar safety management role.
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations in the MENA region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills for risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, driving safety initiatives forward.
- Certification in safety management (such as NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
- 28 to 38 years old.
