- Provide specialized medical care to newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Diagnose and manage premature infants, neonates with respiratory distress, congenital abnormalities, and complex medical conditions
- Monitor critically ill newborns and perform timely medical interventions to stabilize and optimize outcomes
- Interpret diagnostic investigations including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and monitoring data
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate and counsel parents and families regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date medical records and clinical documentation
- Stay current with advancements in neonatal medicine and apply evidence-based practices in daily clinical work
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Specialist training in Neonatology and or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Minimum 3 years of experience working at Consultant level in NICU within a reputable healthcare facility
- Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and family-centered care
