  • Provide specialized medical care to newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • Diagnose and manage premature infants, neonates with respiratory distress, congenital abnormalities, and complex medical conditions
  • Monitor critically ill newborns and perform timely medical interventions to stabilize and optimize outcomes
  • Interpret diagnostic investigations including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and monitoring data
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate and counsel parents and families regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date medical records and clinical documentation
  • Stay current with advancements in neonatal medicine and apply evidence-based practices in daily clinical work
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Specialist training in Neonatology and or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working at Consultant level in NICU within a reputable healthcare facility
  • Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-acuity environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and family-centered care
