Job Description:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to create accurate technical drawings and plans for architectural projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction techniques, drafting standards, and proficiency in CAD software to support architects and engineers in translating design concepts into detailed drawings.Key Responsibilities:Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting softwareWork from rough sketches, specifications, and design concepts provided by architects or engineersModify and update existing plans to reflect design changes or site conditionsEnsure all drawings comply with building codes, zoning laws, and construction standardsCoordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepanciesAssist in preparing construction documents and permit packagesMaintain project files and drawing archives for future referencePerform site visits and measurements to verify as-built conditions when requiredContribute to design development and technical detailingStay updated with the latest drafting tools and industry practicesRequirements:Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Technology, or related fieldProven experience as a draftsman or CAD technician in an architectural or construction firmProficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting softwareStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailingKnowledge of local building codes and technical standardsAttention to detail and excellent technical drawing skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong communication and coordination abilities
