- Developing project charters and schedules in accordance with EPMO guidelines, securing the necessary approvals.
- Collaborating with project owners to detail the scope, objectives, and timelines, highlighting dependencies and critical paths.
- Leading football and multi-sports projects, managing all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Creating and implementing a stakeholder communication plan to clarify roles and expectations during the project.
- Monitoring project status, ensuring adherence to the established plan and schedule.
- Managing vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet contractual obligations prior to project owner approval.
- Identifying, documenting, and addressing risks and issues, while escalating as needed to adhere to governance standards.
- Keeping stakeholders updated through regular meetings and comprehensive reports.
- Submitting change requests and acceptance letters, coordinating with project owners and vendors.
- Maintaining compliance with EPMO stage gating requirements and archiving all project documents upon completion.
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the sports sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering sports projects.
- Professional certification in project management (PMP or similar).
- Strong skills in project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling techniques.
- Excellent communication capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Competence in project control and compliance procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
