By investing in our people's continued growth and learning, we challenge and change how we build together - people and business.Role Objective:To maintain a seamless and effective interface between construction projects and the Amana Plant, ensuring all equipment, vehicle, and machinery requisitions not available internally are efficiently sourced from the market. This role emphasizes compliance with company guidelines while securing the best service and value from rental suppliers.Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Assess the eligibility of all external equipment suppliers through thorough verification and reference checks.
  • Identify potential new suppliers and submit for Rentals Manager's evaluation and approval.
  • Review and evaluate the quality of equipment delivered to sites; report any deficiencies to the maintenance team and document in the equipment database.
  • Act as the primary liaison between external rental suppliers and project teams to address and resolve equipment-related concerns.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with both site personnel and rental suppliers.
  • Regularly update and maintain organized records of supplier files.
  • Ensure all rental agreements are compliant with local legislation and corporate policy.
  • Process off-hire notes from project sites to ensure accurate tracking of externally rented equipment.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of external rental activities to monitor usage and cost.
  • Enter delivery notes into the system promptly to facilitate timely cost booking and reporting.
  • Generate and issue monthly external rental invoices to projects; follow up for timely approvals and processing.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly reports analyzing rental equipment usage and performance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to management for potential equipment purchases based on rental trends and costs.
Qualifications and Skills requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Certification in Procurement & Supply Chain (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) from an accredited institution is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on equipment rentals.
  • Strong understanding of equipment rental procedures, supplier management, and contract compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems related to procurement and asset management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Candidate is preferable to be Saudi National.
